Nice Day for a Zoom Wedding. The Power of Flowers.

Nice Day for a Zoom Wedding. The Power of Flowers.

Sure the Pandemic has effected us like everybody else. Wedding and bar and bat mitzva cancellations came in droves as health concerns out-weighed the need for ceremonies and gatherings. Travel became dangerous. Uncertainties dampened enthusiasms. Plans crumbled. But human beings, like flowers, enjoy being in bunches. And when it comes to celebrating life's major transitions, be it a christening or a funeral, we realize now how precious these gatherings are. The word of the day became "Pivot". People ordered Momo's "Hang in There" hand tied arrangement to help loved ones cope with the rampant disappointments.

But Love Conquers All. And with the advent of Zoom came the inevitable Zoom Wedding and couples pivoted all the way to the alter. Wedding bells were replaced with the electronic chime that told happy couples "there's someone in your waiting room" as they tied the knot virtually. And Momo and Ron were there for them. Delivering everything from bridal bouquets and boutonierres to horizontal arrangements to fit Zoom frames. Undaunted couples pledged their love in living rooms in front of computer screens.

We were particularly delighted to help Gigi and Sam with their "home elopement." Sam built an arch, Gigi ordered a flower crown. And they even found the time to send us some pics. "Take that, Covid!" they seemed to say. Score one for the Power of Flowers! And Congrats to Gigi and Sam!
