As the Summer winds down and the Fall starts to fall here at Momo's Flowers and More we are starting to notice the little things that Make Momo's such a special place in our increasingly complicated world. The new little zen bamboo fountain is gurgling away and the sun is slanting at a slightly different angle in the afternoons, forcing us to adjust our red parasol a little each day to protect our precious petunias.
More alliteration: Recently the Summer Solano Stroll festivities took place up our street and Momo made some delightful impulse items: Air plants mounted on wood as magnets and wall hangings. Elegant and easy to care for these spiky babies even came with directions printed on origami paper and folded into a crane! Talk about whimsical! And they were a big hit! We even made more to add as a cross-sell item on our website!
Another lovely Summer delight was the wedding request for a Bridal bouquet and boutinierre made entirely in the palette of Sunflowers! Luckily Momo was able to find some bright yellow mums to compliment the Sunflowers and as the bride and groom and their best friend skipped out the store and into the sunshine with their bright Summer-y blossoms in hand all we could think of was "Hooray!"
