Here at Momo's Flowers and More we are just getting over the non stop madness that is Valentine's Day and have a little moment to give thanks to all those that helped us through it. So here goes:
We knew once Valentine's Day rolled around we might be inundated with orders from lots of lovely people needing to express their love in the form of lovely flowers. Though we have quite a few regular customers at this point, many of the the people coming to our little shop on Valentine's Week only buy flowers once a year- so it better be good- and in an attempt to serve them as well as our frequent flower fanciers Momo and Ron needed a little help from our friends. So beside our intrepid driver Peter, the World's greatest (and kindest) delivery man and the ever- spunky ball of energy that is Shirley, Momo's stalwart assistant, we added some team members to help when V Day rolled around. Lisa, a longtime friend of the shop and flower designer in her own right packed order after order into her Mini Cooper and helped Peter with deliveries. Flo, an ikebana enthusiast volunteered her time to help process flowers expertly, taking time away from her lovely family just to be amongst the blooms. And finally there was Lora, a charming woman who also happens to be a superb flower designer and emailed us out of the blue shortly before Valentine's Day asking if we needed help. We did. And her savvy, smart and stylish ways were on full display every day and made the long hours go by with ease and even fun. When the dust (or pollen) finally settled at the end of the Feb. 14 we knew with out a doubt that we would never have made it without a little help from our friends. So thank you Shirley, Lora, Peter, Lisa and Flo. You are the MORE of Momo's Flowers and More!
